Meanwhile according to the EU 10% of world trade in counterfeits and fakes is caused by piracy, illegal overproduction, parallel and reimports, which equals an international loss of over 300 billion Euros. (November 2007).
In addition to the purely physical damage caused by lost sales, the image loss or damage caused by unjustified claims can be several times higher.
A secure protection against product counterfeiting and piracy can not exist, but the definite identification of own products can and thus the distinction between original and fake.
We offer security features, which
- make coats / prints invisible
- can be added to existing ink color or coatings
For standard applications our uniScript offers various UV-readable inks with simple security markings and recognition with uncomplicated methods.
For more ambitious security markings we have developed various security ink systems in our tiered security concept under the name secuScript, which is tailor-made to customer specification to allows for secure identification of the product:
- Level I: Security feature(s) in the ink, for recognition one further component is needed.
- Level II: Security feature(s) in the ink, for recognition one further component is needed and an additional dosimeter reader is required.
- Level III: Security feature(s) in the ink or in a coating/colour/paint etc, the results of the reading come with the help of tests in a special lab.
